Discussion points for A4uexpo - this is a very new idea, not yet finished, so please pardon the dust!

- Adsense around the site
- Media appearances.
- Conference circuit.
- Sponsored emails.
- Customised WTM’s for companies.
- Consulting to any city / government that wants to listen to us! £000’s once established.
- Spin-offs once the theme is established:
- World Sports Map – or even just UK Premiership, 22? Teams on an England-shaped football pitch, each side represents one player?
- Olympics Map – based on rings
- World Film Map
- World Ideas & Inventions Map
- World Knowledge Map
- Train of Thought Map
- World Music Map
- World ‘peace (achievement) map’ – naff, but people would buy it.
- Food map
- Etc.................... this list keeps getting longer.
What makes WTM unique?
- Extension of Harry Beck’s legendary tube maps, but updated for the 21st Century.
- Only maps to predict future trends, rather than present.
- ‘Relevance’ mapping re-sizes countries according to importance, not size.
- Borders and coastlines lined up at vertical / horizontal / 45o .
- Alignment of major cities onto rigid ‘chess board’ like grid.
- Alignment of landmass to fit onto rigid grid – for example, Pan-Am ‘backbone’ runs straight north-south from Anchorage to Castro, Chile.
- Ability to incorporate simple slogans based on 3-letter IATA city codes / 3 letter words etc + map itself is based on 4 corners ABCD (Anchorage - Bering Strait – Castro / Chile – Dunedin).
- Alignment of map makes chains of cities or other applications easy to memorise.
- Spin-off opportunities (see above).
